Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. You will handle financial reporting, conduct data analysis, record transactions, and ensure strict compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations: Monitor day-to-day accounting activities and enter purchase invoices.
Reconciliations: Execute regular bank, debtor, and creditor ledger reconciliations.
Cash Flow: Track and follow up on timely payment receipts and vendor payouts.
Taxation: Handle GST and TDS workflows, and collaborate with consultants for timely return filings.
Audits & Finalisation: Assist in finalising accounts and resolve internal and external audit queries.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Relations: Coordinate with clients, vendors, and government authorities on financial matters.
Process Excellence: Identify process gaps, implement improvements, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular performance reports on accounting activities to management.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent, proven experience in core accounting roles.
Tax Knowledge: Deep understanding of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS, and Income Tax).
Portal Proficiency: Hands-on experience with GST, Maha-VAT, Income Tax, E-Way Bill, E-Invoice, ESIC, and PF portals.
Software: High proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.
Added Advantage: Recent experience using Spectrum Business Management software is a major plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational traits, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
